Thanks to your generosity last year, we were in a position to help many of our neighbors, friends and food pantries make it through another challenging year. The Charity Raffle is our way of giving you something back as you help us continue our vital work. Thus, with great pleasure:
The SCITUATE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS is pleased to announce the start of their 36th Annual Charity Raffle, with a grand prize award of $10,000. Since only 500 tickets will be offered for sale, your odds of winning are excellent. The drawing will be held at Scituate Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday, 8/2/2025 at 4:00 PM. You do not need to be present to win.

For 71 years, the Scituate Knights of Columbus has dedicated itself to serving the communities in which we live. The proceeds from this raffle provide the foundation for much of the financial assistance to individuals, families and community organizations in need of help now more than ever. The following is just a sample of the many activities and organizations we have historically supported and that will need our help as families and our communities deal with today’s economic issues.
PERSONAL ASSISTANCE: Our primary goal: Provide specific assistance as required to those in need, including food, clothing, fuel and financial assistance.
COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE: Scituate Food Pantry, Scituate Community Christmas, Scituate FACTS, Friends of Scituate Seniors (FOSS)-Senior Center, Chamber of Commerce and Scituate Fire and Police Departments.
YOUTH ACTIVITIES: Donations to numerous youth groups, athletics and miscellaneous youth projects including: Scituate High School’s – Lacrosse, Swim, Football, Hockey and Basketball teams, Scituate Soccer Club, Scituate Little League, South Shore Seahawks, Boy Scouts, Scituate Recreation and Scituate Youth Basketball.
EDUCATION SUPPORT: Over $246,000 in scholarships awarded to local area students over the last 28 years. Additional donations include Scituate Education Alliance, SHORE, CORSE and FAST
CHURCH ACTIVITIES: Assistance to St. Mary of the Nativity and other local parishes, schools, religious education programs, seminaries/seminarians, vocations promotional efforts and numerous miscellaneous Church projects.
HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT: Appalachian Service Project, El Salvador Mission Project, Division of Youth Services and other significant local and regional disaster recovery programs as they arise.
VOLUNTEER EFFORTS: Hundreds of hours of volunteerism yearly to Council, individual, and community projects.
